2013 THEME - WAR OF 1812

Fort Trumbull's theme for the Speaker Program, this year, is the War of 1812. However, the Fort has again been selected to receive volunteer help to maintain Fort Trumbull for the Civil War Trust’s (CWT) annual “Park Day”, which, this year, will be Saturday April 6th 2013. The volunteers are from CO. F, 14th Connecticut Volunteer Infantry, an established Civil War reenactment group. Some of their members have participated in reenactment activities at Fort Trumbull in the past. More information on them can be found HERE.
