WINDOWS ON THE WORLD OF FORT TRUMBULLOur 2015 series of programs will be based upon the periods in history that were significant to Fort Trumbull.
In 2010, in honor of our first president, John Hanrahan, the Friends commissioned a set of window panels to enlighten visitors to the park as to what is available inside the Visitors Center.
Using the window panels in the Visitor’s Center as our guide, we will be planning presentations on the Role of the Fort in The Revolutionary War, The Civil War, World War I & II, and the Cold War. We will also include the History of the Coast Guard at the Fort.
